Compared with ordinary cable outlet structures, the waterproof sealed-head design provides better waterproof, dustproof, oxidation-resistant, and sealing performance, making it more suitable for humid or harsh working conditions.

What is a waterproof sealed head float level switch used for?

This float level switch is mainly used for liquid level detection and automatic control in industrial tanks, reservoirs, water treatment systems, chemical containers, and pump control equipment. It is commonly used for: Pump control Overflow protection Dry-run protection High/low level alarm Automatic liquid level monitoring The waterproof sealed head design provides better cable protection and sealing performance in humid or outdoor environments.

What is the advantage of the waterproof sealed head design?

The waterproof sealed head design provides: Better waterproof protection Improved cable sealing Reduced moisture penetration Better long-term reliability Suitable for humid and industrial environments It is especially suitable for outdoor equipment, water treatment systems, and high-humidity applications.

Is it normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC)?

It supports both Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed (NC), depending on the float orientation. The switching logic can be changed by reversing the float by 180°. Lower-Open Type (Default) ① When the liquid level rises, the float moves away from the reed switch position, and the switch turns OFF. ② When the liquid level falls, the float returns to the reed switch position, and the switch turns ON. Upper-Open Type ① When the liquid level rises, the float returns to the reed switch position, and the switch turns ON. ② When the liquid level falls, the float moves away from the reed switch position, and the switch turns OFF. Note The factory default is usually the lower-open type, but users can adjust it according to control requirements.

Can the float switch directly control pumps or solenoid valves?

No — not recommended for direct load switching. The internal reed switch is designed for low-current signal applications and should not directly control inductive or high-power loads such as pumps or solenoid valves. Recommended solution: Control signal → relay or PLC input Pump or valve → relay / contactor / motor starter → load ⚠ In low-power applications (such as small DC pumps or low-current valves), direct switching may only be possible if the load is within the switch rated specifications. Direct connection may reduce service life or damage the reed contacts.

What are the advantages of the 1-inch thread design?
